WHY IT MATTERS
There are 70 million people in the world living with autism. 85 percent of these people live in developing countries, where there are limited to no resources. The Global Autism Project partners with centers around the world that are committed to bringing quality services to individuals with autism. We train the staff, therapists and teachers at theses centers in evidence based practice so that they can better serve their students and community. Our ultimate vision is a world where all people with autism have access to quality education and resources that enable them to reach their full potential, no matter where they live. By providing family and community education through in-country workshops, hands-on instruction and distance training, our model supports sustainable change at the grassroots level.
