WHY IT MATTERS
We at HoneyLove believe that the city is the last refuge of the honeybee. Our home gardens are free of pesticides, and in cities like Los Angeles, there is year-round availability of pollen and nectar. Our Native seed mix packets, designed to provide foraging and nesting resources for urban pollinators. The mix includes 12 species of native wildflowers that provide nectar and pollen throughout the entire growing season: Baby Blue Eyes, Blue Field Gilia, California Phacelia, California Poppy, Common Gumplant, Farwell-to-Spring, Golden Ya, Narrowleaf Milkweed, Summer Lupine, Sunflower, Tidy Tip, Whitewhorl Lupine. Planting a pesticide-free pollinator garden is one of the most beneficial things we can do in the city to help the honey bees!
