WHY IT MATTERS
Tennis is one of the sports that children from our communities rarely get the chance to participate in. It requires rackets, nets and balls which are all unaffordable for children living on less than $2 per day. Providing a tennis ball for our programmes will allow us to take tennis to a further 90 children per week and allow them to benefit from all the positives of this, in terms of health improvements, emotional well being and direct life skills such as leadership, communication and decision making. Most of all it gives these children a chance to break away from the daily struggles of life in these communities and spend a few hours just having fun and enjoying themselves.
